A Wide Copper Cuff Engraved With the Serenity Prayer

The band is wide, flat and brushed to a soft matt finish, and the prayer is engraved right around it in a light script that carries on past the front and out towards both open ends. A small cross in a contrasting gold tone is fixed at the centre and stands slightly proud of the surface. Six round discs are recessed into the two ends, three on each side.

The cuff slides on from the side and can be eased a little wider or narrower by hand, so one size covers most wrists. Copper darkens as it is worn, which deepens the engraved lines while the flat surface stays lighter. It is most often bought as a keepsake for a confirmation, an anniversary or a birthday.
