Silver Hoop Earrings With a Gold-Tone Band Down the Centre

The hoop is thick and rounded rather than drawn from thin wire, and its outer face is split into three: a polished silver-tone edge on either side and a wide gold-tone band down the middle. Two fine ropes of twisted metal separate the colours, and the same rope line is repeated along the inner edge where it shows as the hoop turns.

It is a small hoop, so it stays against the lobe and clear of a collar or a scarf. The hinged post snaps into the far side of the hoop, which closes the circle and keeps the two-tone line unbroken. The gold-tone centre lets it sit with either colour already in the jewellery box.
