Huggie Hoop Earrings With a Claw-Set Stone at the Top

The hoop is not a plain circle but a narrow U, wider at the base than at the hinge, which is what lets the earring sit tight against the lobe. A single round stone is held in four claws at the top, and a row of smaller stones runs in a recessed line down the front of the band. The back of the band is left plain and smooth.

The hinge snaps shut with a small latch, so the earring closes on its own and there is no separate back to lose. They are compact enough to wear through a working day and bright enough to leave in for the evening. Gold tone and silver tone are both available.
