A Copper Cuff Engraved as One Long Feather

The band is shaped as a single feather and wrapped round so that the two tips pass one another rather than meeting. Barbs are cut in fine parallel strokes along the whole length, angled out from a central shaft to the edge, and the tips taper and lift away from the wrist. The copper is left plain and lightly polished, with no plating over it.

Because the ends overlap instead of butting together, it slides on sideways and then holds its shape. On the arm it reads as one clean line rather than a wide statement cuff, which makes it easy to wear alongside a watch or with two or three thin bangles.
